Tuesday July 22nd: Puppets with Ricky Rainbow Beard.  Ricky Katowicz (he/she/they) is Ricky Rainbow Beard - a children’s educator, entertainer, and design leader based in Providence, RI. They have taught workshops in and around New England, designed toys and games for kids of all ages, and perform regularly as 'The Rainbow Beard Show'. Do you ever make puppets? What about a home for your puppets? In this workshop we will use simple materials to make a puppet that will be our friend. We will play with our puppet friends to give them personality and their own voice. We will also build somewhere for them to live when our puppets aren't busy "working".

Wednesday July 23rd: Sound Club with Club:Club Caloric (Dailen Williams) created Club:Club to nurture creative expression, foster learning, and provide a third space for new artists - especially women, Queers, and People Of Color - to forge long lasting relationships with their peers in the Rhode Island music scene. Come be a part of a very exciting soundscape based workshop! This workshop will meet at Wedding Cake House but walk (with supervision) down to the Club Club space in Olneyville

Thursday July 24th: A Play in a Day with Eli Nixon Eli (they/them) builds portals and gives guided tours to places that don’t yet exist. They collaborate on imaginative interventions through cardboard constructionism, theatermaking, drawing, and choreography of low-tech public spectaculah. They are a settler-descended transqueer clown and a parent of a 16 year old human. Eli is a Rhode Islander living on Narragansett land. They invite everyone to celebrate BLOODTIDE- A New Holiday in Homage to Horseshoe Crabs. Join us to brainstorm, imagine, create, rehearse and perform a new short play, in a day. In about 3 hours actually. Eli will facilitate participants to collaborate and contribute their interests and skills in a range of possible modes from costume design to acting, dancing, music, props, special effects, audience experience and stage management. The show will be performed in the last 20 minutes of workshop time for invited guests. All welcome. No theater experience necessary (and off-stage roles abound). Feel free to bring costumes or other DIY theater materials you are excited about or just bring yourself and use the weird stuff Eli brings.
